Refund policy
Returns and Exchanges Policy
With our simple return process, you can shop online worry-free. If something doesn’t
work out, you can send most items back within 30 days of delivery.
- We do not accept returns/exchanges after 30 days of delivery.
- We inspect all returned/exchanged items. The product must be in new or unused condition, with all original product inserts and accessories.
- Shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer in cases of buyer’s
remorse returns/exchanges, such as an item that didn’t fit, didn’t like the
color/quality, changed your mind, ordered by mistake, bought it somewhere else, etc. - We will refund the cost of the merchandise and shipping charges if the return is a result of our error or a defective product.
- All sales are final on clearance items. No refunds, exchanges and/or in
store credit on clearance items.
- Refunds will be sent to your original form of payment once items are received.
- Refunds typically take 5-10 days to process once we receive the item.
- All items must include the original invoice.
- We do reserve our right to reject items that are ineligible for a return.
- Holiday and Seasonal Decor Items: Due to the time-sensitive nature of these
products, we do not accept returns for any holiday- or season-specific décor after the relevant holiday or season has passed. For example, Christmas décor or decorations cannot be returned after December 25, and Valentine’s Day décor or decorations cannot be returned after February 14 and Fall décor or decorations cannot be returned after the beginning of Winter. Even if the purchase falls with the 30 day timeframe that we allow returns. This policy helps us maintain product quality, availability, and fair pricing for all customers who purchase décor in anticipation of each holiday or season.
Returns and Exchanges Process
To return an item for a refund, please use the process below.
- Start the return process within 30 days of receiving your item for an exchange, in-store credit, or a full refund. Send an email to info@designdecorknoxville.com for a return authorization.
- We accept returns in-store as well as shipments. To return an item, place it securely in its original packaging and include your proof of purchase. If you desire to ship your return, we suggest that you use a trackable method, please use the following address:

- After we receive your returned item and inspect its condition, we will process
your exchange, in-store credit, or a refund. Refunds will be sent to your original
method of payment. Please allow at least fifteen (15) days from our receipt of
your item to process your return. - Refunds might take 1-2 billing cycles to post to your credit card statement, depending on your bank. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you received a damaged or defective item and it is reported to us within 30 days after purchase, we’ll happily take care of it. We’ll gladly cover the shipping costs for both the returned item and the replacement item.
To receive a refund or get a replacement on a damaged or defective item, please send
an email to info@designdecorknoxville.com. Include your name, contact information,
order number and a picture of the damaged or defective item(s). A member of our team will quickly be in touch with you.
Incorrect Items
Occasionally, we mess up. If you received an incorrect item, we'll work quickly to make
sure you get the right item. Please send an email to info@designdecorknoxville.com.
Include the order number and a picture of the item that is incorrect. Once received, we'll email you a return label for the incorrect to be sent back and ship the correct item to you.
Missing Items
If an item is missing in your order, we’ll take care of it. Please send an email to
info@designdecorknoxville.com. Include your name, contact information, order number and the item you’re missing. A member of our team will quickly be in touch with you.
Christmas Tree Returns
Christmas tree returns require authorization from our team. Christmas trees are usually
returnable if the Christmas tree is in the original, unopened box and within 30 days of
the order ship date. We do not accept returns on Christmas trees that have been
opened. All other return policies noted under “Return Policy” apply to Christmas tree
returns.
If you have a Christmas tree that you’d like to return, that’s in the original, unopened
box, please send an email to info@designdecorknoxville.com. Include your name
contact information, order number, and the tree you’re interested in returning. A member of our team will gladly assist you from there.
Exceptions/Exclusions
- Unfortunately, we are not able to accept any returns/exchanges that are not in
their original item packaging. There are no exceptions to this policy. - We do not accept returns/exchanges for trees 15 ft and above.
